Today was busy day for us! We spent the entire morning at the children's museum. We attended Tot Time first, then played, ate lunch in the cafe, and then played some more. I was ready for a nap, but there was no time for that because we were off to speech at the Rowe Center. We did come home for about an hour and a half of down time before heading back out for Carter's basketball game on the south end of town. Carter didn't get to play tonight, but he still enjoyed being there to support his teammates who did.
During Tot Time, Miss Abby taught the kids about germs. She started off by asking the kids if they had ever heard of germs and then asked if they knew where they came from. Jacob yelled, "From crocodiles!" I think he was being serious. Miss Abby read a book about germs and how they can make you sick. She also taught the kids to sing the "ABC Song" while washing their hands so that they wash them thoroughly. the boys loved that part! Finally, they made little germ stick puppets. Their favorite part of the puppets was the googly eyes.
This busy day has worn this momma out.
