Tonight was Ethan's last soccer game of the season. While he didn't score the most goals or have the most steals, I am sure that he had more fun than any other kid out there! There is just a sweet innocence about him that melts my heart. He doesn't care about the score, or who wins or loses. He is simply out there running around and having the time of his life. He claps for every kids who scores, teammate or otherwise. He loves that his family is there supporting him and thanks us with his constant supply of smiles and waves.
I love seeing him so happy and proud of himself. He is putting his trophy next to the one he received in the spring. Right on his dresser where he can see it every day.
More importantly than having the star player, we are proud that Ethan is just Ethan....having a ball with soccer.
