Trick or Treating

We were invited to our old neighbors' house for a trick-or-treating party tonight.  It was so much fun and we realized just how much we miss our old subdivision.  It was home for 10 years and everything there was just easy.  Kenny and I loved walking the streets with the kids and reminiscing about the time that we lived there.  I would love to just move those neighbors to the empty lots in our new subdivision.  Ethan and Jacob had so much fun because it was the first get-together where they could just hang out with the kids.  Kenny and I were more relaxed because we didn't have to chase them all over the place.  Kenny commented on the way home, that things are finally beginning to feel fun again when we go places. We are leaving the Where are the boys?  What are they doing? Are they okay? phase and just enjoying hanging out with friends.  It feels soooo good to be there again.
The boys already had the costumes that they wore to the library on Wednesday, but when we were at Walmart today, they saw some costumes that they really wanted.  Since all of the Halloween items were reduced half price, I bought Jacob the Captain America costume for only $5.  Ethan's Dracula costume was $7.50.  Pretty good deals if you ask me!  We also have another party to attend on Sunday evening, so they will wear these again.

This year is the most we have done Halloween.  Usually, for us, it lasts only a night or two.  This year we are having just too much fun with it!
