Carter's 2014 track season is well underway. He competes in the high jump, long jump, and hurdles. He is doing pretty well for his first year in hurdles and I am glad that he is doing something a little different. Although he's doing well in the high jump, the coach says that he doesn't jump soon enough and scratched him from the event the other day. It's too bad because he's trying his best and she didn't even show him how to properly do it, just kept yelling at him each time he jumped. My friend gave her a piece of her mind about how she was treating Carter and the coach apologized and said that she would work with him on Monday. I am not happy with the coaching of the track program, but still glad that Carter can participate in an after school activity with his friends.
