We still had lots of family in town on July 5th, so we got to visit with them at my parents' house for one more day. We had a little snafoo on the 4th, when all of a sudden BOTH of my parents' toilets stopped working. I felt bad for my mom and dad who had worked so hard to make everything nice for everyone, only to have that happen. It was upsetting to them, but luckily, everyone else took it in stride. On the 4th, lots of the girls bonded while riding the "Potty Bus" back to my house. Thank goodness I only live about 10 minutes away! By the second day, my parents had created a nice outhouse with a potty seat that had a bucket and a wash basin. The hose ran across the yard to the potty, so everything turned out great. The little boys thought it was great and will probably be disappointed when they have to use the toilets in the house now that my dad has gotten them fixed.
Everyone had a great time. I just wish we all lived closer together.
