Wow! After I posted about how thankful we are for the clinicians that have touched Ethan's life, Megan came home from Big Brother/Big Sister and announced that she had been chosen as the "Big" of the year! Her "little" wrote a letter stating why she should win the award. Her three reason were that Megan teaches her about safety, is fun to be around, and does fun crafts. The supervisor also acknowledged that Megan has attended every get together. It warms my heart to know that while we are receiving the gift of caring from others, our daughter is doing the same for someone else. We are so proud of her!
Megan also recently received another award. At the Winter Guard banquet, she was awarded "Most Outstanding Flag" for her AA team. I love that she puts her all into activities that she commits to.
We love you, Megan!
Wow! Megan, this is a really big deal. This award, for your Big Sister achievement is outstanding. You should be really proud of yourself. This is the kind of award that reveals your character, and to me - that's the most important kind of award. We already can see that you are a great Big Sister to your siblings. Congratulatons on this spectacular accomplishment. You have a BIG heart!
