Ethan ran his very first race bright and early yesterday morning. My cousin, Chad, and his family were staying with us, and they all got up to cheer him on along with us. My parents' came too. Having that many spectators there to support him, really made him feel special.
Kenny ran the race with him, and said that he was waving and saying, "Thank you!" to the crowd as they cheered him on. He even waved and said, "Hi, Baby!" as he ran past a baby in the crowd.
I am so proud of Ethan for running the race. I loved seeing his smiling face as he neared the finish line. Running is something that really makes him happy. I'm also glad that he had his dad to run it with.
