Kenny's birthday was today. He had to work, so our family went out to dinner at Texas Roadhouse last night and then Megan took all of the boys home so that Kenny and I could go see "The Heat". It was hilarious!! Melissa McCarthy is hysterical in it! Also, Kenny's former coworker, Beth Ann, made him some homemade cupcakes and ran them by the office. She's the one who made the amazing medical cake for him last year. How thoughtful. There were enough left over, that we were able to have some before bed.
Today, Ethan insisted that we get Kenny some balloons and his favorite carrot cake from Grand Traverse Pie Company. Megan had to work, so we enjoyed them after she got home.
Happy birthday to my handsome 42 year old!
