We celebrated Dr. Seuss's birthday last week in homeschool. Ethan has been disinterested in school since Christmas break, so I thought that having a big celebration would get him excited about it again. He enjoyed the activities and reading the books, but still doesn't want to do handwriting and math. I am on the fence on how far to push him because we have decided to send him to public school next year. I know that he needs to be prepared for school, but I also know that school may be a struggle for him for the next 12+ years and wonder if I should just let him enjoy being a kid while he can.
