On Saturday, we took Carter and 5 of his friends to SkyZone in Plainfield. It's a huge indoor trampoline park. There was a basketball area where the kids could use the trampoline to help them dunk the ball and a large dodge ball court. The boys spent all of their time on the courts and didn't really get into the free jumping.
The boys spent two hours jumping and that seemed to be just the right amount of time. Afterward, we stopped at Dunkin Donuts to get some donuts for breakfast. They were getting ready to close, so the lady just started throwing extra donuts in our bags. It was great! She said that she would rather give them to us than throw them in the trash.
I'm happy that Carter enjoyed his little birthday getaway with his friends. I am sure that we will head there again this summer.
