My parents got us a firepit for Christmas and we finally got to use it today. Ethan and Jacob were so excited because they are used to going to my parents' house to make s'mores, and now we can make them at home. They ran around the yard collecting sticks to throw into the bowl.
It took a pizza box and some newspaper to get the fire started.
I caught Ethan telling Kenny a secret.
The s'mores were good and the best part is that we get to do it all over again tomorrow. It will be even warmer than it was today and Megan and Carter will be home to join us.
I'm sure that we will get plenty of use out of the firepit for about nine months of the year.
