Every month, the teachers at Rio Grande choose a student who best exhibits the trait for the Mayor's Character Award. October's trait was sportsmanship, and Carter was selected as his classroom winner! All of the winners get their picture taken to be displayed on this bulletin board. An additional reward was getting to eat Dairy Queen Dilly Bars at school. We always hope that our kids are well behaved at school and show good character, so it's nice to know that they are. Way to go, Carter! We are proud of you!
