Fowler Park Christmas Walk

My parents have a tradition of attending the Fowler Park Christmas Walk.  The park has lots of  authentic log cabins and people dressed up as pioneers.  It is like a living museum and is decorated for Christmas this time of year.  They have women making cookies, kids stringing popcorn and cranberries, an old school house, a blacksmith, a hide tanner, and a general store.  They usually take Megan and Carter with them, and it's an event that they all look forward to.  Last night, I took Megan to order her letter jacket, and my parents met me at the store to pick her and Carter up to take them to dinner and then to the park.
I am sure that they had loads of fun because they were still cracking up for an hour after they came home.  Megan finds everything my dad says utterly hysterical!  She had a hard time spitting out what she was laughing about, because every time she would think about it, she would be rolling all over again.
For the past three years, much of mine and Kenny's time has been consumed with taking care of the little boys, so times that the older kids get undivided attention is greatly treasured.  I am so happy that they all had such a great time and that Megan and Carter feel so loved by their grandparents.
