Cinco de Mayo

The boys learned a little bit about Mexico in preschool this week in preparation for Cinco de Mayo.  They colored Mexican flags and learned a few Spanish words.  Today, we made edible sombreros for a snack before Ethan's soccer game and then had a Mexican dinner afterward.  I made the main course food, but we bought the chips, salsa, queso, and guacamole from one of our favorite Mexican restaurant, Real Hacienda.  It was delicious!  For dessert, I made chocolate banana taquitos.

Happy Cinco de Mayo everyone!
