The Zoo

After hanging around the house all morning cleaning, Kenny and I made the last minute decision to take the kids to the zoo.  Megan had to work, but the boys were excited to be able to get out of the house for the day.  We were able to see the regular exhibits, plus take in a dog show, ride the train, and see the butterflies.    It sprinkled a few times, but was in the high 60s so it was nice to walk around outside.  This was our first trip to the zoo without a stroller and it was so easy.

After the zoo, we met up with my sister, Heidi, and her husband, Brien.  We played with their foster kittens and then went out to dinner and got ice cream.  It was a great day!  The dog show really made an impression on Ethan and he now wants to train Riley.  We'll see how that goes!
