The Autism Speaks Autism Walk was held at the county fairgrounds this morning. It was a gorgeous day to be outside. Megan worked a booth for Walgreen's and the boys and I walked.
My friend and neighbor, Ashley, was the chairperson for the event. She doesn't have a child with autism, but has a really big heart. She chairs all kinds of events and is active in the community. She is also Megan's boss at Walgreen's as she is the store manager. Her husband and two sons were at the walk as well and Ethan and Jacob were excited to jump in the bounce house with their friends.
There is great community support for autism. I hope a cure is found soon.
