Ethan and Jacob have loved watching the construction of the new home in our subdivision over the past few months. It is just down the hill and visible from my bedroom window. The house is nearly finished and builder has begun work on grading the yard and pouring the driveway and sidewalk. While in the living room the other morning, we heard a lot of commotion coming from the side yard. We quickly ran to the window to see what was going on.
The boys were excited to see the machinery so close.
And then, they realized that the builder was destroying their beloved dirt hill. Looks like they will have to find other ways to to get dirty from head to toe this summer!
