We had a super fun day today! Kenny worked until 11:00 in the morning, and then after that, we headed out to do a few things. First on the list was touring one of the homes on the 2011 Parade of Homes. Since we are hoping to build a new home next year, we are trying to find floor plans that suit our needs. We liked the one that we toured, but would need to modify it just a bit. We are pretty picky, so it might be a lengthy process to find exactly what we want.
After that, we took the boys to Bogey's. Megan was at a friend's house, so it was just the boys and us again! We are still getting used to the fact that she is at that stage in life where it is more exciting to hang out with friends than with us. Kenny and Carter rode the go-karts. I wanted Ethan to ride too, but you have to be four years old. At least he and Jacob were content to watch as I took a few pictures. Next, Carter shot targets at the new paintball gallery. He was actually pretty good!
After Bogeys, we took the boys to the park. It was extremely busy, but the boys were able to swing, Carter helped Jacob go down some slides, and then we all rode the train. Jacob and Ethan were excited about the train. Jacob was all smiles and did the "chugga-chugga-choo-choo!" It was so cute!

Carter finished the day at his friend's swimming birthday party. Not only did he get to swim, but they had a sundae bar too! Tonight, I will be picking up Megan and five of her friends from a party to spend the night It's been awhile since she has had that many friends over at once, so I am hoping that all goes well and it's not too rowdy for the little ones! If they don't sleep well, tomorrow could be a long day!
