There was one small area of concern...the two little bumps on his abdomen just above his belly button. I noticed them about six months ago, so I asked the pediatrician about them. She thoroughly examined his abdomen, which he did not like, and said that she thought they were just hernias. She then scheduled an appointment for us to see a pediatric surgeon at Riley. I was surprised because I was expecting her to chart the size and have us watch them, not to send us to Riley. Kenny and I both thought that was a little hasty, but we will be going to Riley in August to see what the specialist says. If they are hernias and a surgery would just be cosmetic, we will not be doing it. We don't want Jacob to undergo surgery for bumps that are barely visible to anyone but us. Hopefully that's all it is, and nothing will need to be done. I will post about our visit later.
He is a little mischievous, but that smile gets me every time!
He is SO cute! You just want to squeeze him! Love his smile!
