This is the first Christmas Eve in at least 15 years that we have been home on Christmas Eve instead of having Christmas with the Masseys. We just watched Christmas movies, snacked, and played games. Megan worked from 3-10 this evening, so she missed most of it. Ethan and Jacob are beside themselves with excitement! (Carter is too!)
Before bed, they sprinkled their reindeer food on the front lawn. They put it by the tree so the reindeer could see it.
Then, they ran inside to get Santa's magic key. We don't have a fireplace, so Santa has to use the magic key to get inside.
After that, they carefully carried the milk and cookies to the stockings for Santa.
And finally, they said good-bye to their elf friend, Buddy. They were a little sad about it, but I assured them that he would return again next year. Hoping they have sweet dreams and awake to the magic of Christmas!
