Today was Ethan's last day with Miss Megan at the Rowe Center. He absolutely loved working with her and enjoyed going to "school" on Monday and Wednesday mornings. She was very patient and kind, and they just kind of "clicked" from day one. She said that she was happy that Ethan met all of his goals for the semester. They even had to change his goals once, because he met them so quickly! He will continue to receive services until he tests out, so he is automatically enrolled for the fall semester. A new student clinician will be assigned to work with him, but I think that he will adjust to the new situation perfectly. He is used to working with lots of different people each week.
I couldn't be happier with our first experience at the Rowe Center and realize how very lucky we are to have met the all of the wonderful people there, from Miss Megan, to the supervisor, to the students running the front desk. I still can't believe that the services are free! What a great resource for people battling speech issues. We love the Rowe Center and are so thankful that they are preparing wonderful clinicians that will be available to help children and adults with various speech issues. But, most of all, we love that they are helping our little Ethan!
Miss Megan and Ethan

That is so great that you have a place to take Ethan that can help him and it's even better that you have great people working with him.
