Today was Ethan's first day back to preschool. Once again, Kenny was able to go to school with us~YEAH! On Tuesdays and Thursdays, he doesn't have to go in until 9:00, so it worked out great that Carter and Megan started back on Tuesday, and Ethan went today.
When we first entered the building, Ethan and Jacob ran up to the bobcat in the box. The bobcat is their school mascot, and for some reason, they both love him. I'm not sure they are aware that he's no longer alive. Last year, Jacob would talk to him.
Next, Ethan ran in to find his cubby and put his things away. He wasted no time getting some toys and playing at one of the tables. He happily waved goodbye to us and went on about his day. Jacob cried because he wanted to stay and play with all of the kids and the toys, but the tears were gone by the time we got to the car.
A couple hours later, Jacob was reunited with his best buddy. Ethan had a great day. He told me that he made an apple tree and that Mrs. Head will probably hang it up. He loves for his work to be displayed. He was happy to see his old friends and to meet new kids too.
One of the most exciting things about today was the fact that he wore big boy underwear instead of Pull-Ups to school. He had no accidents! SUPER YEAH!!
Here's to a super year for my favorite four year old!
