Thankful, or something like that!

Kenny is off of work this week!  We were going to go to Mexico and have my parents watch the kids.  We got our passports and everything.  But, when we really thought about it, it didn't make much sense to spend money on a vacation for just the two of us with Christmas for four kids, and birthdays for two of them approaching.  We will go sometime, I just don't know when.  We are all going to Disney World in April, so at least we have a vacation to look forward to.
Since Kenny is off, he got to spend some time in the preschool with us yesterday.  We talked about being thankful for things in our lives and had the boys make little thankful turkeys.  I don't think they quite get it.  Jacob just looked around the room and named things that he saw.  At least I made Ethan's list, but poor Kenny just sat there like chopped liver!
Here is what they are thankful for...

In case you can't read the feathers in the picture, I'll list them for you.

Jacob:  Red Rover Dog (a game), toy trains, Clifford (his stuffed dog), his bucket of crayons, and the toy barn/animals.
If we had done this activity in the kitchen, he probably would have been thankful for his stool, fork, spoon, sippy, and banana!

Ethan:  my turkey, my mom, me, dinosaur trees, and robots

Can't wait to see what next year brings.  Kenny hopes he will make the list then!
